This is the Clinical Placement system used by the SCHI Onboarding Program at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

Once you have logged into Sonia Online, your School homepage will become active. From here you can access information relating to your Clinical Placement including:

• your placement details;
• Forms and information for Mandatory Pre-Clinical Requirements;
• Reminders and important dates;
• Electronic forms;
• Facility information;
• Selecting placement group preferences;
• Uploading and viewing pre-clinical documentation.

Staff: This is where UniSC staff/HDR students with SCHI access will locate and complete the General Evacuations Instruction form.

Students: Only students who are completing classes at Sunshine Coast Health Institute are required to access this area. You will be officially notified if you are one of those students.

UniSC Students: If you have questions about studying at SCHI, visit Sunshine Coast Health Institute or Studying at SCHI or email UniSC Support at Sunshine Coast Health Institute.

UniSC staff with SCHI access: If you have any queries please refer to MyUniSC or email SCHI@usc.edu.au 

COVID-19 Infection and Exposure

Students are required to report any COVID infection and exposure that will impact attendance for clinical placement, clinical laboratory or class. Please complete the self-selectable WIL COVID-19 Reporting form available under the Forms tab, once you have logged into Sonia Online.

Please Note

It is the responsibility of each student to ensure their mandatory documents are current and that the originals are available for sighting on request from UniSC or Placement Staff.
